Where in the world is...Dr. Sciascia!?!

EKU's Athletic Training faculty member, Dr. Aaron Sciascia, continued his series of international presentations as he spoke at the Congress of the Asociacion de Kinesiologia del Deporte in Buenos Aires, Argentina on August 30th and 31st. Dr. Sciascia delivered 3 lectures dedicated to Kinetic Chain-Based Rehabilitation of the Shoulder, Pain Processing Variations in Shoulder Pathology, and Return to Sport Following Shoulder Surgery. He also provided a workshop allowing attendees to practice evaluation and rehabilitation techniques for the shoulder.

“The Argentinian Association was immensely hospitable and organized a great meeting.  It was an honor to present to over 1,000 attendees each day. I attempted to provide practical information the attendees could utilize in their clinical practices. Each lecture was received well and the positive feedback was overwhelming!”

Dr. Sciascia's planned international travels are winding down for the year but that doesn't mean he will be taking a break. He will continue to focus on teaching EKU's Athletic Training students and to pursue his own research agenda. After a small respite, he will be back to presenting on topics in his area of expertise and his most recent findings.
