EKU ATEP Students (41) Attend Southeast Athletic Trainers Association Student Conference

EKU Athletic Training Students at SEATA Athletic Training Student Symposium

Forty-one students from EKU's Athletic Training Education Program (ATEP)  represented EKU at the 27th Annual Southeast Athletic Trainers Association Student Symposium. Group Picture of Athletic Training Students at SEATA Conference EKU ATEP students attended various lectures and hands on labs with 800 plus other athletic training students from across the country. There were three educational tracks one for first year professional phase students, one for second year professional phase students and a competencies track to prepare seniors for their Board of Certification Exam. Seniors in EKU's ATEP are eligible to site for their board exam in April of 2012.

The ATEP also entered a team in the 4th Annual Student SEATA Quiz Bowl where they did extremely well, finishing 4th out of 18 teams. ATEP students were afforded numerous opportunities to network for future graduate assistant positions or career opportunities.
