EKU ATS Alyson Buehler Selected to SEATA Student Senate
EKU ATS Alyson Buehler was recently selected as the KY representative to the SEATA Student Senate. The Senate is a student leadership committee that was formed by the SEATA Executive Board to collaborate with the NATA Student Leadership Committee. State representatives are charged with active involvement and planning of the SEATA Athletic Training Student Symposium. In addition, they serve as liaisons to their regions Program Directors.
When questioned about her selection, Alyson stated, "I wanted to join SEATA Senate because I wanted to learn how to network with leadership in the athletic training profession. This puts me in a position to learn from more experienced athletic trainers and students. I love getting to know how other AT programs work and making connections with other athletic training students. I look forward to my time in Senate as a committee member."
If you have questions regarding the SEATA Student Senate, please let her get through her first conference call, get her feet wet and then contact her with your questions.
Students from EKU have represented the Commonwealth on this committee for the last 4 years. Alyson is the next in the line of student leaders attending EKU!
