EKU Athletic Training Students and Faculty Provided On-Site Look at Athletic Training in Industrial Setting at Toyota Plant in Georgetown, KY by Premise Health TMMK

Eastern Kentucky University athletic training faculty and students, got a first hand look of the industrial and corporate employment setting for Athletic Trainers, thanks to Premise Health TMMK.  Premise Health invited athletic training programs from across the commonwealth to come and tour the Toyota Plant and recieve a behind the scenes presentation by the athletic trainers employed on-site by Premise Health to services Toyota plant employees.  

Dr. Eric J. Fuchs, ATC, EMT-B Director, Athletic Training Program Eastern Kentucky University Invited Speaker at Southeast Athletic Trainers Association 40th Annual Meeting

Dr. Fuchs, serves as EKU's Director of the Athletic Training Program and Associate professor in the College of Health Sciences.  Dr. Fuchs was invited for his expertise in wound care to provide and evidence-based practice presentation on wound care.  The 40th Annual Southeast Athletic Trainers Association Annual meeting drew over 300 athletic trainers and sports medicine professionals and was held in Atlanta, GA.  Dr.

EKU AT Faculty Attend 2015 NATA Athletic Training Educators Conference and Four EKU AT Students Attend the NATA's iLead Conference in Dallas, TX

Dr. Eric J. Fuchs, ATC, EKU's Athletic Training Program Director, along with Dr. Tracy Spigelman, ATC  and Dr. Matthew Sabin, ATC attended the 2015 Athletic Training Educators Conference, which is a premier conference held every two years to provide update on current trends in Athletic Training Education and to provide current research and innovation in athletic training educaton.  This confernce allows the EKU AT faculty to bring back best practices and new ideas to keep EKU' s AT Program at the cutting edge of Athletic Training Education.
